Dr. Rizwan Khan Niazi, Diabetes Specialist, Diabetes Center Services Hospital, Lahore, said that the number of diabetics in Pakistan is more than 7 million. The number of diabetics in the country will exceed 14 million and Pakistan will be ranked seventh to fourth in the world in terms of diabetes.

Remember diabetes is not a disease, it is your lifestyle
Change it and avoid getting diabetes
- Eat less food to survive
- Eat dinner two and a half hours before bed
- Make exercise a routine ... Take a walk in the morning
- Get in the habit of walking for a short distance instead of riding a motorcycle
- Cut down on sweets (try to use natural sweets like honey, dates, other fruits)
- Be sure to eat all seasonal fruits
- Sugar is poison, if possible use "gar and sugar" as it contains no chemicals.
- After the age of 30, use artificial sweeteners "Candle or Medicam Sweetener" instead of sugar. They also have less side effects.
- Use more vegetable salads
- Abstain completely from cold drinks
- Use fried foods only for flavor, instead of filling the stomach
- Use fat-free milk and yogurt
- Use ghee or mustard oil instead of vegetable ghee and cooking oil completely. In addition to sugar, high blood pressure. Paralysis. Heart attack. Uric acid. Cold Flu Cough Mucus falling into the throat. Eliminates and strengthens the immune system
- Make it a habit to drink eight to ten glasses of water throughout the day
- Adopt simplicity for a better life
